Clyda in All-Ireland Scór Final

Clyda Intermediate and Juvenile clubs would like to wish the O'Hanlon families well in their bid for glory in the All-Ireland Scór finals this weekend. Saoirse, Garrett, Donnacha and Cormac with their parents and supporters will be making the long journey to Derry this Friday flying the flag for Clyda, Cork and Munster . To win the county and Munster titles was a huge achievement for these talented musicians who will hopefully contribute to a revival of the musical tradition in the parish. Best wishes to them and the other Cork participants from Boherbue and Kanturk. To mark the occasion the two clubs invited the two families to the clubhouse where Aisling Murphy of the Intermediate club and Michael Nyhan of the Juvenile club made presentations to the young musicians. A generous donation was also presented to the families from the Avondhu Junior GAA board to express its support for the importance of the musical and cultural aspects of the GAA. Míle Buíochas!

The clubs would also like to wish the Analeentha NS and Burnfort NS teams the best of luck in the Scór na Paistí finals which are coming up shortly
