Minor County Hurling Semi Final 2013-09-18 11:43:00

Following on from their North Cork victory over Kildorrery, Clyda Rovers Minor Hurlers met Tracton in the County Semi Final in Mayfield last Sunday evening. The very strong wind was to have a major bearing on the game. Clyda were playing against the wind in the first half, and found scores very hard to come by. Credit to the Clyda back line who fought very hard throughout the half. The half time score read 1-4 to 0-4 to Tracton. Playing with the wind in the second half , Clyda started to dominate and made the most of the advantage. Clyda made far better use of the ball and with some fine scores ran out deserving winners, 0-15 to 1-6 booking a place in the county final against Bride Rovers. This game is also due to go ahead over the weekend so check locally and please support.
